The Belgium actor first time acted at the age of 16, where he played the role of a young boy who was sexually exploited by the young boy. He played an incredibly complex role, with Bloquet having to seamlessly balance a teenager’s precociousness and innocence. While he was playing a tennis tournament which he eventually won, he saw a call sheets for an audition and he signed up. Bloquet got this first starring role by happenstance in Belgium film ‘Private Lessons(2008) and soon would go on to work with Luc Besson twice and also with Isabelle Huppert in the Paul Verhoeven directed ‘Elle.’ He would now be seen in the much awaited Conjuring series. Initially, he had no intention of being an actor. He wanted to work for the police as a scientist. In the prequel of the films released so far, he plays the role of a Frenchie who helps the two protagonists Father Burke and Sister Irene in their quest to solve the sinister mystery of a nun committing suicide I the Romanian abbey. While Frenchie is scared witless in the same, he has no fear of supernatural. However, he talks about the feel of a presence which guides us in our odd times. He is now focused on the release of this movie but later he would like to ‘work on his body’ for a role where he will get to play the role of a boxer.
