Celebrated US chef, Anthony Bourdain, left the world in dismay after his sudden suicide in June at the age of 61. Bourdain is once again making rounds in the news as he bagged two posthumous individual Emmy awards yesterday, for his work in the popular CNN food-and-travel show Parts Unknown. He clinched one Emmy for the best informational series and the other for writing an excellent nonfiction program.
It is pertinent to note that Anthony had previously won four Emmys consecutively from 2013 to 2016. Parts Unknown has also bagged 5 awards for picture editing for a nonfiction program, sound editing for a nonfiction program, sound mixing for a nonfiction program, best informational series and writing for a nonfiction program.
