After not been able to perform well against England Nair’s exclusion from the test match against the West Indies confused everyone but the chairman of selectors MSK Prasad comes to the rescue and had a word with him. He told him ways to make a comeback. The selector committee was not happy with his performance and instead had eyes on Hanuma Vihari who has been doing quite well. Nair told in an interview that the team managers have not contacted him yet. A former Indian stumper mentions that communication is the strongest point of the committee although telling a bad news is always a tough task since a very strong reason is needed for the exclusion. MSK Prasad says as for now, Nair should keep his focus on the domestic matches and India A series Matches. He is also advised to keep performing well in the Ranjit Trophy. This will make his chances better for the comeback. While MSK Prasad ensures his name in the Test Series but it might take a while for us to see Nair playing in it.
