 The city of Lucknow is all set to host an international game between India and West Indies on November 6, 2018. It will challenge the ascendancy of Green Park Stadium, Kanpur which has organized many international matches in the past. The stadium has organized few domestic matches to be qualified as a host to an international match. Even, the city is quite linked and competent in technology as compare with Kanpur, and it has been developed by the private company, and own on lease from the government for 35 years, and it is connected to the main bypass road. The ground has been laid down under the administration of BCCI chief curator Daljit Singh. Although, the match will be a practice for the Indian team to test out there bench vigor before the world cup in 2019 against the Caribbean team.
