A major accident was reported on Saturday night in china, where an oil tanker lost its control and got involved in a major accident with the cars that were waiting to clear the toll in the northerwestern province of Gansu. At least 14 people were killed in this tragic accident with leaving at least 30 people injured.

This is not the first time that such a major road accident has took place in China. There was another major accident reported last week by the authorities, where the driver of the bus and the passenger got into a quarrel and were seen arguing with each other ultimately leading to a tragedy. The driver lost the control of the bus near the China's Yangtze river in the western city of Chongqing. This negligence took lives of 15 people who were on board.

Looking at the current situation the authorities must take stringent actions against the movement of these heavy vehicles especially the oil tankers and transport trucks that can cause huge damage to the public at large. Also their must be a maximum speed limit for these vehicles. The authorities must also look into charging a heavy fine from the defaulters to make sure the safety of other vehicles on road.
