  • Three employees of a child care centre have been arrested on Saturday, in Howrah district of West Bengal.
  • According to the Police reports and sources, based on the information shared by the government officials, a police team had recently visited the child care centre for investigations and findings.
  • The General Secretary of the child centre said that he had no idea about the incident and would make sure all the culprits are arrested.

Three employees of a child care centre have been arrested on Saturday, in Howrah district of West Bengal. They have been accused of sexually abusing the differently abled girls in the child home and have been booked for the same. It is also revealed that one of the abused girls is a minor. 

According to the Police reports and sources, based on the information shared by the government officials, a police team had recently visited the child care centre for investigations and findings. It is also reported that all three accused have been arrested and that if found about any other persons being involved, the police would not hesitate to take action. 

The police came to know about the issue when they interacted with the girls through an interpreter. The police then were able to identify the culprits based on the information shared by the girls. The General Secretary of the child centre said that he had no idea about the incident and would make sure all the culprits are arrested.
