Radesh Singh Tony, who was the first candidate from the Sikh community of Pakistan to contest in the elections for a general seat, has alleged that he was slapped twice and threatened by unknown people. Tony took to twitter to express his displeasure on the same.
Tony also alleged that he had stopped tweeting since the incident, which happened around 15 days ago where two young men had apparently threatened him and also slapped him. However, he later said that he found the courage to come back on twitter. He also tweeted that he found the courage to come back to twitter since he realised that life and death is in the hands of God. Tony also said that it was due to the threatening that he had shifted to Lahore from Peshawar. Yet, he still could not get rid of the pestering from these people.
He further said that Pakistan is in the hands of wrong people and that only god can save it. Following the same, Tony received a lot of sympathy from common people, who advised him to complain about the threats, shift back to Peshawar again or that he should have at least hit back in self-defence.
