Most Governments get into election mode in the last year of its term, however, the Narendra Modi’s government is different. Piggybacking on Facebook’s #10 years challenge ahead of the Lok Sabha polls in 2019 the Bharatiya Janata Party government has tweeted a # 5-year challenge to the opposition highlighting Indian governments accomplishments under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure. Through these Tweets the BJP claims India to have risen during its tenure. On Friday, 18th January 2019  the BJP Twitted about the parties achievement in the past 5 years such as India’s ranking in World Bank Ease of Doing Business,  Doorstep delivery of LPG Cylinder,  Highlighting budget allocation for Kumbh,  electrification completion for all villages, growth of GDP at 7.3% and many more. But the Opposition Government also hit back at Modi’s government claiming it to be a Flop Show. According to the Opposition, the BJP Government has failed to fulfill its promises made during the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. The opposition hit back at the BJP’s #5 years challenge alleging financial frauds and increase in corruption during Modi’s tenure. As a reply to the tweet of the BJP Party, Shashi Tharoor, the Congress Minister demonstrated a picture of Ram Mandir and BJP’s Head Quarter trying to highlight that where the Ram Mandir remains the same in 2019 as it was in 2009 the BJP Part's Headquarter has undergone a drastic renovation.  Therefore, the BJP and the Congress kept on targeting each other with a “# 5-year challenge”. The Narendra Modi’s government has been in Parliament for five years now and it is the time for the next general elections in May 2019. Therefore,  the BJP party has used social media #10 years challenge in its own style in order to highlight its accomplishment in these 5 years.
