After conquering the acting world, Telugu actor Mahesh Babu is now all set to produce a movie based on the 26/11 martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who lost his life while fighting terrorists at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai in 2008. Major Sandeep was an army officer serving in the elite Special Action Group of the National Security Guards. Famously remembered for rooting out Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, he was the team commander of the 51 Special Action Group that was deployed during the operation to rescue hostages. He was awarded the Ashoka Chakra- India’s highest peacetime gallantry award in 2009. Directed by Sashi Kiran, who is best known for his directorial debut Goodachari, a spy thriller which released in 2018, the movie would be casting Adivi Sesh. Adivi Sesh will be seen in a Hindi movie for the first time. Mahesh took to twitter to share the news. Sony Pictures will be in charge of production and distribution in India.
