In the match held between the Supernova and the Velocity, it was Jemimah who stole all of the spotlights. Jemimah scored a quick 77 runs, which later helped the Nova to achieve a 12 runs victory over the Velocity in the Women T20 Challenge. With this win, Supernova made it to the finals and Velocity despite the loss managed a positive net run rate and managed to make it to Finals. Trailblazers lost the spot in the Finals as soon as Velocity reached the required threshold of 117 runs. In the match at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, the Velocity won the toss and opted to ball first. Chamari Athapaththu (31 Runs, 38 Balls) and Priya Punia (16 Runs, 16 Balls) gave the Supernova a decent start. Jemimah Rodriguez (77 Runs, 48 balls) played a quick knock to take the Nova to a challenging total of 142 runs in 20 overs. In reply to this, Velocity could make only 130 runs with the contributions of Mithali Raj (40 Runs, 42 balls) and Danielle Wyatt (43 Runs, 33 Balls). Poonam Yadav (4-0-13-1) bowled brilliantly for the Nova. Jemimah Rodriguez was awarded the Player of the Match for her innings. The finals of the Women T20 Challenge will be played between the Supernova and the Velocity on 11th May.
