Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman Sivan K on 1st May had said that the Chandrayan 2 will have 13 payloads with two on the rover. He said on the day when the probable launch dates were announced. But on Friday, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in its tweet made it clear that Chandrayan will have 14 Indian payloads with only two on the rover. Chandrayan 2, India’s second lunar mission is all set to be launched by ISRO between 9th July 2019 and 16th July 2019 and will probably have its moon landing on 6th September 2019 (expected).  The Chandrayan 2 will have three modules – the Orbiter, Lander, and Rover. The spacecraft weights 3800 kg. The Orbiter will orbit the moon at 100km; Vikaram, the Lander will descend on the moon around 6th September and Rover will probe the moon surface. ISRO has chosen the South Pole area for the landing and if it happens to be a successful landing, it will become the first agency to have done a landing at the south pole of the moon. With only 60 days remaining, ISRO is working hard on making the Chandrayan Mission ready before the launch date.
