  • The Delhi HC on Monday reversed the Trial Court order of acquittal of Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, accusing him of Criminal Conspiracy to commit murders of Sikhs during the Anti-Sikh riots in 1984
  • The Court also upheld conviction of 5 other accused, where two were given life imprisonment and the rest with a 10 year imprisonment, calling it an ‘extraordinary case.
  • An ardent follower of ‘amma’, Indira Gandhi, Kumar dug his own grave when he called out to a crowd anti-Sikh slogan, following the former PM’s assassination, in Delhi’s Sultanpuri.
