Mumbai University declared the results of the third year of Bachelor Of Arts and Commerce after one month from the scheduled deadline. As per the Public University Act, the results of the examinations should be declared within 45 working days after the exams. The Examination for the TYBA and TYBCom were conducted in April 2018 and results of these exams were declared after three months of the exams.
Education Minister Vinod Tawde appreciate the department in the tweet for declaring the results on time. On the contrast, Students are slamming University for declaring result after one month delay. Students said that delay in declaring results cause a problem to them in further studies since they were not able to apply in other universities without final results.
This is lack of seriousness on the part of Education Ministry which is risking students academic future plans. According to one student, her admission cannot happen in Madras University because admission happens on the original mark and delay in declaring a result forced her to give up on her plans. Also as per the information received from another student, it came to the knowledge that late result didn’t allow him to take admission in LLB course. This is kind of harassment of students.
