Churu in Rajasthan recorded a temperature of 50.8 Degree Celsius on Saturday and 50.3 Degree Celsius on Monday thus becoming the hottest place in the world. Now the situation of the people living in that place is like on the edge of a tandoor. Women and men have changed their life style and conditions around them to cope up with the heat. A retired government employee at churu said “What has added to our agony is the power cut that starts from 4 a.m, when it is almost close to 35 degree Celsius."  To solve the problem people go daily to grocery to buy 10 kg of ice to use for coolers.

The Health condition of the people was in high alert, the hospitals were crowded by people complaining about headache , head stroke and skin aliments. Dr. Goga Ram, Principal medical officer of Churu Government Hospital said around 70 patients were admitted in each ward with heat related diseases.  Another doctor said the people very quickly changed their food style taking butter milk, raw onion, curd and chapati with universal breakfast and skipping lunch. Medical man says “It’s better to take more fluids for such weather." Public places are empty with out people.

District administration is taking measures like sprinkling water every where and suggested people to drink more water. On Wednesday 47.3 degree Celsius was reported which is some relief to the people they say.
