Two more cases of Nipah (NiV) Infection came out on Wednesday in Kerala. Along with him total of seven patients contacted with the infection. All of them are kept in Isolation ward in government Medical College, Ernakulam. The samples of six patients were sent to National Institute of Virology (NIV) pune and Alapuzha. The sample of seventh patient who admitted on the evening of Wednesday was sent on Thursday.

They are waiting for the result from pune, the Alapuzha NIV told there is nothing to be worried. Health Minister KK Shailaja said the first four patients are the friends of  a student from Ernakulam and three are the nurses who treated him in private hospital ,now they are feeling better. There are 314 people kept under surveillance. The situation is under control. Karnataka, the neighbouring state of Kerala called for daily health reports from Chamarajanagara, kodagu, Maysuru, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Shivamogga and Chikamagaluru districts.The administration of Kerala and neighbouring states of it are taking precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the infection.
