Bollywood actor John Abraham starrer film 'Batla House' will be released on the occasion of Independence Day. But before that, a special screening of the film was organized for Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday evening in Delhi. John said, "It is an honor for us to show our work to Honorable Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu. I want to see how he reacts to our film. Batla House, directed by Nikhil Advani, is inspired by the alleged police encounter operation in Delhi in the wake of the 2008 serial blast. John will be seen playing the role of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who commanded the Batla House operation in this film. John said, "I love people who work for the nation without selfish motives. He also talked to me about his personal things." Actor Mrinal Thakur and Ravi Kishan are also in the film 'Batla House' and it is going to be released on August 15.Although the film seems to be falling into controversy before the release.

In the Batla House case, 2 accused in the case have filed a case to stop the release of this film. Two accused in the case Ariz Khan and Shahzad Ahmed filed a petition against the film in the Delhi High Court. He has demanded to instruct the center to do a pre-screening of the film Batla House. The plea states that all the events depicted in the film's posters and promotional videos are inspired by the true incident, which makes it seem that the Batla House encounter is showing the real incident on the screen.
