Mika Singh and his team performed at the wedding of a billionaire's daughter, who was related to former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharaff, caused outrage after ties between the two countries got severed.

Mika Singh performed at the ceremony on August 8,2019 and his presence in the city came to light when the video of him performing got uploaded on social media. Mika Singh arrived in Karachi accompanied by his team to perform at the wedding ceremony of the daughter of an influential billionaire who is said to be close to Musharraf. Mika charged USD 150,000 for this performance. Mika’s Indian fans did not take this news so well.

 "This is a time when there is a ban on Indian films, dramas, shows, and Pakistan has made its views clear to the Indian government. Even if visas were issued early on they should have been canceled," Shah said.
