Anupam Kher's autobiography was shown by his friend and eminent actor Rishi Kapoor, his wife Neetu Kapoor and the fellow cast of the NBC show New Amsterdam. Padma Bhushan awardee Anupam Kher’s autobiography, which chronicles his failures, rejections, and lessons learned in his life and in a career spanning 500 films.
The actor went to his official Twitter account to share some pictures from the event. Anupam Kher also wrote with it that "It was pure joy, love, warmth & happiness at the launch of my autobiography in @IndiainNewYork. Thank you @chintskap for your magnanimity. You are a real-life HERO too. #NeetuKapoor for your grace. #RyanEggold @janeymontgomery for your love.#LessonsLifeTaughtMeUnknowingly, The book released in India on August 5 “Lessons Life Taught Me unknowingly”. It will be released in the United States on October 15.
"That my book got launched in this consulate in New York, through the good offices of (Consulate General of India, New York) Sandeep Chakravorty is something I could have never dreamt about," said Anupam.
He further said, “For him (Rishi Kapoor) to be here today is the most glorious thing about my autobiography. We have known him as a film hero, but today he is a real-life hero. He has been here for the last one year battling cancer and he has come out of it."
