Politics is the set of activities that are associated with the governance of a country, state, or area. It involves making decisions that apply to a group of members and achieving and exercising positions of governance. The concept of politics has been defined in various ways, and different approaches have fundamentally differing views on whether it should be used extensively or limitedly, empirically or normatively, and on whether conflict or co-operation is more essential to it. A political system is a framework or a set of guidelines that defines acceptable political methods within a society. It defines the process for making official government decisions. It is usually compared to the legal system, economic system, cultural system, and other social systems. In large groups, such as countries, some people may spend a lot of their time making agreements related to politics. These people are called Politicians. It is the politicians only who run the entire political system of a country. It is all up to the politicians whether they want to improve the system of the country or just collect and make money in the form of a bribe or another form.
The form of government in India is Democracy. India is considered to be the largest democracy. Democracy is a form of government in which common people hold political power and can rule either directly or through elected representatives. In a democracy, political legitimacy is based on popular sovereignty. Forms of democracy include representative democracy, direct democracy, and demarchy. These are separated by the way decisions are made, whether by elected representatives referenda or by citizen juries. Democracies can be either republics or constitutional monarchies.
Political law is an established legal practice area encompassing the intersection of politics and law. Political law consists of campaign law, election law, voting rights law, campaign finance law, laws governing lobbying and lobbyists, open government laws, etc. At the federal level, the Federal Election Commission enforces campaign finance law concerning for the races or the races for the United States House of Representatives, and the office of President of the United States. At the state level, most states have administrative agencies to enforce state law concerning campaign finance and ethics rules.
