  • Anger issues can be curbed if dealt properly.
  • Anger needs love not punishment.
  • Anger management is the solution to anger issues.

Nowadays anger among school students is increasing day by day and the reason behind it is not just one but many factors are contributing to the same which is affecting not only the minds of students who are expressing anger but also of other students because it has been seen that impact is always on other students and problems like depression, anxiety and sense of fear can be seen easily among them. Anger is the root cause of violence and violence is not a good thing to be seen in the corridors of a school. Schools are taking measures against this issue to reduce like organizing workshops, meditation and practice of yoga on weekly basis, installation of security cameras for the safety of every student, strict punishments for bullying and any kind of abuse, but the question is what is the base cause for such kind of behavior? Because it is important to have a strong of a building, if the base is not strong then the design on its wall is of no use because it will fall day, just like this it is important to rectify the base cause for these anger issues otherwise a student will function correctly for some time but not in long run. So it is important to identify the type of anger which a student is expressing, like some students are hyperactive and they express instantly whatever they feel like, these students are also competitive and they often lose control over their anger and they may abuse or act violently against the other student. Then some students don’t express their anger instantly rather they plan to take revenge in some other way which is more dangerous as these students have a very brilliant mind but if they use it wrongly then the consequences can be devastating. So, identification of kind of anger is the most step because then only it can be dealt properly but between this, there is one more step which is the reason behind such behavior of a student or what is the factor which is contributing for the same. There can be personal factors behind such behavior which even includes the biological composition of a child. Children who have excessively strict parents and experienced very hard punishments are also prone to develop intense anger behavior. Also, students who experienced pain, rejection, emotional hurt even in past sometimes develop anger issues and they channel their emotions through it because at such sensitive age there are chances they may develop negative beliefs regarding certain things which can be seen through their behavior. The family atmosphere is also an important factor for the child’s behavior because children who experience abuse, conflicts, a divorce has high chances of developing such issues. Children who never experience love and care from their parents develop serious anger issues because a child will never expect anything from anyone but will expect some love and care from his/her parents. The family atmosphere develops the behavioral pattern of the child which is seen in public so it is really important for that atmosphere to be calm and peaceful otherwise the storm in the family atmosphere will ruin a child’s behavior. Society is also an important factor because one can never function properly without a social life or social relationships. Friends, teachers and other people are always a part of life which can never be neglected, so teachers should also try to at least keep watch on behavior of students and help them if they are facing any issues in their life, it is not possible to keep a track of every student but with little attention, this increasing problem can be decreased.
So all these factors contribute to anger issues among students so parents need to maintain a healthy atmosphere at their house and also teachers should also try to help students rather than being strict and punishing them. At such a sensitive age, students need to be handled with care and love, after all, students are future and future can not be compromised.
