Time is the most important yet limited source in the world. Many of us are facing a new way of working during this COVID period in addition to the uncertain and rapidly changing environment.

Finding a focus on work might be difficult at times. You’ll have to manage your time to finish your work and achieve your goals.

It’s important to consider the big picture when it comes to prioritizing your to-do list. Prioritize based on what is most important. If you have several things to do, the first thing to do is write it down in order of importance. This will help in understanding what you need to do first. You should prioritize what matters most, so the most critical tasks don’t get dropped to be more productive. This saves time as well as reduces stress.

If you have not allotted time to achieve your prioritized tasks, you’re setting yourself up for failure. Create a schedule and habits that allow you to do your best work if you have to do work on a daily basis.

The next big problem is procrastination. If you struggle with procrastination, you’re not alone. All of us procrastinate our works. This is normal. But make sure you complete your works. Give yourself the incentive of a reward if that helps. Positive reinforcements such as rewarding yourself with your favourite snacks or indulgences might help you overcome procrastination. Minimize all possible distractions that will get in the way of your work.

You can start your work by breaking it into smaller pieces depending upon your working style. Take breaks in between your work to feel more relaxed. Taking a walk, eating a snack, or just simply sitting can make you feel refreshed again to go back to work. Always remember that the sooner you start your work, the sooner you’ll finish it.

Make sure your mindset is at its best. This can alter the way you approach your work. If you are anxious or tensed, try to cool down before you start your work. If time is running out for a critical task, don’t get worried or burned out. Every problem has a solution. But you must be prepared to explore possible options.
