Before her spike in popularity from the show, her journey before it is inspiring for many budding entrepreneurs, and it is because she has taken that journey, that she is empathetic towards those who are pitching their ideas in front of her in hopes of getting an investment from the “Queen of QVC” herself.

Her journey began in 1996 when an idea struck her mind. She realized that the consumer market could use a product to properly organize their jewelry, an issue which she faced herself. With the passion of invention fuelling her, she turned this idea into the gateway she needed to get into the big world of entrepreneurship. The product which she invented was a simple plastic container with shelves in which a lady could organize pairs of her earrings, but as a woman in business, it was hard for her to find the right opportunity. The opportunity which she finally found when JC Penny, the departmental store, signed a deal with her. This was the same year she started her own company called, “For Your Ease Only”, which was built with the purpose of integrating all her current and future creations.

She slid into track very easily and reached a pace that other entrepreneurs couldn’t match. With the help of various Home Shopping Networks on Cable TV, she managed to sell a lot of her products and paid off her debts in no time. The Queen of QVC started her journey there with her own show called “Clever and Unique Creations”, which made people recognize her as an amazing entrepreneur who could mesmerize an audience with her fascinating sales pitches. Shortly after her success at QVC is when she got crowned as the Queen of QVC.

The show which is in its 12th season made massive success, where sharks have invested in 100s of businesses. Lori’s top investment to this day was in a company called “Scrub Daddy” which has retail sales of more than $150 million, the highest among any other companies in Shark Tank history.
