The Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and the government of Maharashtra have been in a battle of words that heated to another level after the allegations of her ties with drug peddlers came to limelight. Allegations of consuming drugs were made against Kangana Ranaut, on which the Maharashtra government ordered a probe. According to the actress herself, she refuses all the claims and allegations made against her and exclaims that she would leave the city forever if any such allegations are found to be true. She says that she is more than happy to oblige in all formalities brought forward by Mumbai Police and Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and is willing to do any drug tests or allow the investigation of her call records if that is what it takes to prove her innocence.

She made her statement after Anil Deshmukh, Home Minister of Maharashtra accused Kangana of being involved with drug peddlers and ordered an inquiry to be made against such allegations going by the old interview of her ex-boyfriend Adhyayan Suman. The Home Minister while speaking to the media said that Adhyaan Suman, Shekhar Suman’s son while speaking to a media organization had said that Kangana used to provide him with a drug which is the fundamental evidence in the allegation against her. Kangana left Himachal Pradesh, her hometown on Tuesday morning and is on her way to Maharashtra. Once she lands in Mumbai, she is expected to be quarantined by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
