  • Amy Coney Barrett took up the position of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg..
  • Amy Coney is a member of religious group
  • She opposes women's sexual and reproductive rights and preaches about women's subordination to men.

After the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Trump pick 48-year-old Amy Coney Barret, a member of the charismatic religious group People of Praise, who preaches about women's subordination to males and until recently called female advisors to other women "handmaids". People of Praise founded in South Bend Indiana in 1971, believe that wives should submit to their husbands. Husband is considered as the spiritual head or pastor to his wife is one of the most firmly held and foundational teachings of this community said by former member Adrian Reimers in a book written about this group. People of Praise have about 1700 mostly catholic members in 22 cities across U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean who oppose premarital sex, LGBT rights, and abortion. There are also other indications of Barrett's opposition to women's sexual rights and reproductive rights.

She was a law professor at Notre Dame School of Law and a member of a University anti-abortion group called " Faculty for Life". In 2013 she said at the Notre Dame Event that life begins at conception. As a 7th Circuit Court Judge, she said against abortion rights in a case involving restrictions to pregnancy conditions or populations of women and in a case involving restrictions to young women's access to abortion. She also supported the rights of men accused of sexual assault. She wrote a statement allowing a male student accused of sexual assault of a female student to file a case for alleged violations of the 14th Amendment. She believes in female subordination which can fundamentally undermine the legacy of the justice she replaced. Ruth Bader Ginsburg has won a series of cases in the 1970s that violate sex discriminatory laws which guarantee equal protection of the law. Barrett is a member of the Federal Society who advocates "originalism " and " textualism". She clerked on the Supreme court for former Associate justice Antonia Scalia who believed that equal protection guarantee should not apply to sex discrimination.

In 2012, Barrett signed a letter sponsored by Becket Fund that objected to contraceptive coverage under ACA. During a talk in Notre Dam Law School, she said that a legal career is a means to an end and is building the kingdom of God. Shortly after the death of Scalia Barrett argued that it would be very improper to have his seat go to an Obama nominee. Now Barrett took the seat of women's rights icon Ruth Badar Ginsburg to destroy her legacy.
