Veteran CPI(M) leader Ashok Bhattacharya has kicked up a storm saying BCCI president and former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly is under pressure to join politics and some people wanted to use him for political gains. The assertion by Senior CPI(M) leader Ashok Bhattacharya that BCCI President and former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, who has suffered a heart attack and is now hospitalized, was under pressure to enter politics on Sunday created a storm. Last week, Bhattacharya told Sourav that he should not enter politics and he was not opposed to views. Dilip Ghosh BJP State President Dilip Ghosh, responding to the comments of the former minister, said that some people, because of their sick mentality, see politics in everything. Like millions of his fans, we just wish for Sourav to completely recover. The leader of the Senior Trinamool Congress and State Minister Sobhandeb Chatterjee, who also visited the former cricketer at the hospital, said that there was never any move to "into our party. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal and Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar visited the hospital on Saturday to inquire about his health. A week ago, in an "in a courtesy visit" Ganguly met Dhankhar at Raj Bhavan.
