Cleaner Versions of Automobile towards better environment sustainability With the increase in norms and regulations about environmental protection and pollution/emission scales, E –Mobility or Electromobility has seen a rise, this type of system refers to the use of electric versions of vehicles called the EVs replacing the automobiles running on the basis of petroleum. Today different companies are launching electric cars, buses, motorbikes, and others. Recently the Earth Energy electric vehicles unveiled and brought three of their products to the market namely, Glide, Evolve Z, and R which are priced anything between 92,000 to 1,42,000. The company is a start-up based in Mumbai and considers the sector a blooming one. One of the best features of Earth Energy is that they have an app that helps in navigation and are fully charged till 110 Km range. There are many other electric vehicle companies in India like the MG ZS EV, Tata Nexon, and Tigor EV, Hyundai Kona EV, etc. An electric car runs using electric motors; the car has batteries that can be recharged again and again. The emission rates in such kind of cars are quite low and sometimes countries also have certain established incentives for E-Cars. California aims to stop any further sales of gas-powered vehicles by the year 2035. Which is the world's best-sold e-car?, Tesla Model 3 has remained one of the best since 2018. Though electric vehicles are a very good alternative to their counterpart they have failed in garnering attention and confidence from consumers. The individual customers look for good performance, improved versions, technological advancement in this field, and its standard in the vehicle. The biggest drawback in the EVs is the non-availability of charging booths and stations; if in the future there is a possibility of an increase in such stations with an increase in purchase it would form a better base for more reliability in such types of cars and automobiles. Cost of the vehicles: The electric cars cost from 9 lakh to 24 lakhs depending upon the brand and technology, the bikes cost between 40,000 to 1.5 lakhs, and while the auto-rickshaws start from 50,000. The major price added to such vehicles is from their battery and various changes should be made to the models before the final one is completely approved to bring profits. Though today, it is hard to look for EVs occupied everywhere but they can be seen as a better option in the future.
