Gaganyaan is the mission that was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it is the first-ever mission from India to carry human beings to space. The Gaganyaan will carry three astronomers from Earth to Low Earth Orbit (LEO); a 3.7-ton capsule will carry them to LEO. The training for this is based on flight software and hardware, crew members, and the overview of the entire project. Our ISRO shall develop the craft which will travel through space, the GSLV Mk III will be used as the Satellite Launch Vehicle as it holds the capacity to hold the payload, and it can carry 10 tons to lower earth orbit and hence is ideal Launch vehicle. India will also become the fourth country to send a man to space. The spaceflight was to be launched on the 15th of August 2022 but it can be probably delayed due to the Pandemic. The flight will reach the destination within 16 minutes and shall stay there for about 5 to 6 days. The space expo displayed the spacesuits and the mission's crew model; this will allow an astronaut to carry one oxygen cylinder which lasts for 60 minutes. The Gaganyaan mission will allow the astronauts to witness sunset and sunrise and also see our country India every 24 hours. Before the final mission to ensure the safety of the crew members ISRO will send to flights and before this is done the space organization will also undertake tests to ensure that there are fewer chances of failure in the mission. Certain experiments will also be conducted in space like contamination of microbes and others. The first unmanned flight was to be sent to space in December 2020. Many technologies have also been developed by India to complete the mission like the crew escape system, thermal protection, and flotation systems, and other things to support life. The mission costs ten thousand crores, for the purpose of this remarkable mission planned by India it will receive help and assistance from the French Space Agency and also partner with other industries for developing the latest technologies. The astronauts shall be trained in Russia as per the pact signed by ISRO. This mission will also provide employment for many people in the country and also for ISRO's members. The capsule will take about 36 hours to return and will land near the Gujarat Coast. The mission will lay a mark in History and is one of the most awaited space missions that will be lead by India.
