She has to keep it a secret that she worked for Hitler and she has been doing it for the past 70 years. She has last interviewed for a local newspaper. She also received greetings from Adolf Hitler, she pointed out that when Austria was invaded in 1938 people believed that the situation would become better, she lived in a poor village and one fine day Hitler's army entered the place but the reality was different as the army had destroyed many shops and places. The people buying from these shops were punished by casting prints on their backs. During the war, Elizabeth was called to the employment department and she was hired as the maidservant. When Elizabeth was questioned about her first day at work, she told that she was astonished and had a beautiful room she was asked to dress in a uniform and greet as Hail lady, she also stated that people respected her and it was amazing. Her day was consumed by work and there was an established rule that they should not make any noise, she pointed that Hitler's room was quite large but mildly furnished but she feared in and around most of the time. Hitter had 10-15 guests every night and major decisions were taken place, on his cruelties such as the holocaust she suggested that Hitler was crazy, but in the year 1944 the allies arrived in Germany and she realized that Hitler's end is near, she felt bad for him and the attack was harsh. Hitler survived the assassination but never visited Berghof. Everyone in the place feared death and wrote letters to their families, as the bombing was to begin Elizabeth and her friend escaped the place. When she came back home she witnessed the horrors Nazis had committed, many young and other people were starving and if we served them food they couldn't digest more, I was not aware of these horrors. When she was asked what she would suggest to the younger version of herself about the job, she stated that though she was not proud of other things that Hitler has done, but as a young girl she had the privilege of being his maidservant and could go anywhere, so she missed those days.
