New Museum to be inaugurated by PM Modi, honouring all the previous Prime Ministers of India.

At Nehru museum, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday told Bharatiya Janta Party MPs that the NDA government has taken measures to acknowledge the contributions of the former PMs. In the meeting, PM Modi said that the government has ensured that all the contributions of all the Prime Ministers are recognized.  BJP MPs have been told by PM Modi that the NDA government has taken steps to recognize the contribution of previous Prime Ministers. Prime Minister Modi has asked all the BJP MPs to visit the “BR Ambedkar museum”. On April 14 inauguration of the BR, Ambedkar museum is scheduled in the national capital, coinciding with the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar.

National BJP president JP Nadda,  Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Home Minister Amit shah were among some top party leaders to attend the Parliamentary meeting at Ambedkar Centre in New Delhi. On April 6 a series of programs have been organized by the BJP to mark the foundation day of the party till April 14, the day that marks the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar. JP Nadda, national BJP President discussed the party's upcoming foundation day programs keeping public interest in mind including blood donation camps, etc. BJP MPs during the meeting also passed a resolution to congratulate the Prime Minister and also thank him for the extension of the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana by another six months.

On Saturday, the central government extended the PradhanMantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PM-GKAY) scheme another six months that is till September 2022 with an additional 5kg free ration per month and addition to the normal quota of foodgrains under NFSA. Prime Minister has also said that it is the only NDA government taking necessary steps to recognize the contribution of the former Prime Minister. The PM museum will showcase 14 former Prime Ministers' life and times. Equal space and importance will be given to all the Prime Ministers as per the duration of their tenures. The events had an instrumental role. One of the officials said, “The aim is to take pride in their legacy and contribution.” The Prime Minister’s office wants to celebrate the country’s history, irrespective of which party is in power”, said the sources. The museum 10,975-sq m museum will feature objects and memorabilia from the lives of PMs, including the families and employ digital displays and virtual reality also designed to accommodate future Prime Ministers.
