France has lifted the FIFA Cup for the second time on Sunday after an action-packed match with Croatia. France won the World Cup with a 4-2 score. The champions opened their account with an own goal from Mario Mandzukic. Second goal came from Antoine Griezman from a penalty awarded after a VAR review. The other goals were made by Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappé. The ecstasy of being the word Champions was apparent on the young faces.

Croatia also gave a very tough fight to the champions and it’s two goals was scored by Ivan Perisic and Mandzukic. The team could not bag the championship but garnered praise from all quarters. The nail-biting finale has witnessed many records. It featured the first final own goal and first VAR decided spot-kick. Croatia's Captain Luka Modric bagged the Golden Ball Award. Kylian Mbappé clinched young player award. The proud champion team and nation has celebrated the colossal victory with great pomp and show. Jublilation was so intense that tear gas had to be used to balance it. Heaven also showered its rainy blessings on the new world champions. The festival of football fared well with a fantastic finale.
