The coronavirus pandemic has forced everyone to maintain a social distance. Doctors and experts are constantly advising everyone to maintain 6 feet distance, follow rules of social distancing, wear masks, and many more.

There is no doubt that we can not only keep ourselves safe but also our family from this deadly disease by following the rules of social distancing. But those who are away from their near ones for 3-4 months, they are desperate to meet and embrace everyone. Embracing may prove fatal at this time, but we all require it now. Our nervous system releases toxic hormones in our body in times of such struggle, thus embracing someone brings calmness to the heart and mind.

In many studies, scientists have proved that if anyone gets electrified, then anyone close to him can reduce his/her stress levels by just holding his/her hand.

You can hug anyone but must follow some rules regarding it:

Don't hug anyone from the front!

This method of hugging can prove fatal. Because two people have very close faces in it. When you hug someone, you exhale the breath, which goes around the nose and mouth of the other person, so there is a very high risk of infection.

Keep away the cheeks while hugging!

It happens often, when you hug someone with love, sometimes even the cheeks touch each other. This increases the risk of infection of coronavirus from an infected person to a healthy person.

Do not face in the same direction while hugging!

One can also hug others safely. In this, you have to take care that your face and the person facing you is in the opposite direction. Follow this, and you both eliminate the risk of breathing on each other's faces. Also, do not forget to use the mask!

Allow children to hug till waist or knee!

Hugging till the knee or waist can greatly reduce the possibility of infection because it is difficult for the droplets to reach the face of the healthy person from an infected person. However, the child's face or mask can infect your clothes also, so make sure to change clothes, and don't forget to wash your hands too! While hugging children, take care that you do not breathe on their faces.

Do not kiss the children on the cheek!

Any maternal grandfather or grandfather would like to kiss them, but by doing so they increase the risk of infection on their beloved child/children. Accordingly, the most suitable approach for kissing is to wear a mask and then kiss the child/children on the back of their head/heads. Also, many virologists believe that if you hug or kiss children, then hold your breath for a while. This method keeps them safe from infection.

When you hug anyone, wear a mask and do not hug for more than 10 seconds, so it does not become difficult for you and the other person to breathe for more than 10 seconds. When you conclude embracing, maintain social distance, as prescribed, so that you both can breathe comfortably and maintain a regular distance. Wash your hands instantly after this.
