In an interview recently, Kangana Ranaut said that harassment happened to her, but not on sexual front. She said that harassment happens at different levels and that she has been harassed over and over several times by actors and other people on film sets. She said she felt daunted and humiliated even though it was not sexual harassment and wouldn’t fall under #MeToo. She revealed about facing toxic behaviours like not being invited to film events and trailer launches. On commenting upon girls should be responsible for their own safety she also revealed that she was pinched on the rear by a man in public. She said “[the man] looked me in the eye like ‘what are you going to do now?”.  Her latest project “mani karnika” is all set to release on Jan 25th.
