Priyanka Chaturvedi, recognised spokesperson left the Congress party on April 19 and entered in Shiv Sena which proved to be another shock for the party in the election season. Priyanka in the press conference alleged that congress brought back the party workers who acted with her in an inappropriate way. Shiv Sena received Priyanka Chaturvedi by Uddhav Thackeray who said that the party has got a “sister” in Priyanka. Earlier, the former spokesperson was aggrieved by the bringing of the party workers who made malicious remarks against her at a press conference in Mathura.

At Matoshree, the thackeray’s residence she told the press reporters that despite working dedicatedly for the party without naming the congress, she thought she could work for the women upliftment even though she was largely criticised on the social media platforms.

She further stated that the offending comments against her were neglected by the party regardless of the speaking for 10 years at a significant private cost without officially joining the party politics. After this I was very disappointed. So, I decided if I didn’t confront for my self-respect, I would be a fail personality on the perspective of the women.

I entered Shiv Sena after a lot of understanding and towards my duty for the women class. Priyanka denied the accusation that she was not given ticket for the lok sabha elections. She assured that she would work for shiv sena not only within the territories of the Maharashtra but also outside of the state as well.
